Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

The following is a plain-language summary of our policies. It is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice.

What we collect

Account details (name, email), your study activity (answers, notes, flashcards, exam sessions), subscription and payment records, and technical data such as IP address for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, personalise your analytics and recommendations, process payments, and โ€” only with your consent โ€” to send reminders and product updates.

Legal bases

We process data to perform our contract with you, to pursue legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of consent where required.

Your study data

You can export a machine-readable copy of your data and permanently delete your account from the Account page. Deletion removes your personal study records.

Sharing

We share data with payment processors and infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Analytics

Aggregate, anonymised statistics may be used to improve the product. Cohort comparisons are only shown when there are enough learners to prevent identification.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including password hashing and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
